Cornflower blue sky and warm golden sunshine reminds me of the lapis lazuli of Renaissance paintings. The rowing team are out on the water practising their moves. The crew have left an array of trainers scattered on the landing strip. The cox shouts “again” to the crew through a microphone. Over the bridge, there is a discarded Heineken mini-fridge on the river bank. Where did this fridge come from? How did it get here?  Sunlight illuminates the water. The sunshine has brought out many cyclists and joggers along the tow path. A tree has upturned after the heavy wind and rain. Crowds gather to watch two swans and their cygnets swimming by tall reeds.
