Soft grey landscape like a watercolour wash. Raindrops fall softly on to a leaf, slips down it and onto the ground. A curled up leaf becomes a miniature pool filled with rain water. Only a few regular dog walkers venue into the park. I see a spaniel in a blue rain jacket dashing between beech trees after the squirrels.
